Parenting Help

Unlike other jobs and roles in our lives, we assume the job of parent without any preparation, training or technical skill development. There are no manuals, instructions or roadmaps for parenting. Bullying, electronic and gaming addictions, suicidal contagion, self-harming, threats of school shooting, gender identity concerns, developmental trauma and substance abuse/experimentation are all modern issues and concerns that today’s youth and their parents must navigate.

Children with neurological, cognitive and/or developmental impairments; emotional disturbances and psychiatric disorders are at even greater risk of negative outcomes. Parents today often need education, specialized support and tools to manage complicated parenting issues.

Some of us discover at some point along our child’s developmental journey that we seem to have lost our child. We have become disconnected and our relationship and bond, once strong and unyielding, has slipped tenuously through our fingers without our realizing how much distance has come between us. We can help you regain that parent-child connection. One of the most common parent comments we’ve received has been a version of the statement, “thank you for helping me get my child back.” That feedback never fails to have the same powerful impact on us each time we receive it; as we are first and foremost dedicated to our roles as parents and want you and your children to get the joy back in your relationship.
